PROFILE

Peter Millhouse, a Golf Professional, with over thirty years of experience in the golf industry has worked extensively throughout Europe as a golf coach specialising in sport’s psychology together with a more individual approach to coaching. He has held positions in golf course management and has recently finished working on

'The Pocket Guide to Golf Courses IRELAND'.

Having reached the benchmark age of 50 it was natural that he would dust off his clubs and set about getting his game together in order to play the Senior Tour. He had thought himself relatively fit but several dietary, physiological and technical issues needed to be addressed, if he were to be able to play well for the years to come. The golf swing that had served him well enough in his youth was no longer appropriate.

He sought help from health professionals and soon realised a holistic approach to golf coaching was essential for those, who like him who want to play well for as long as they possibly can. With this enlightenment Gogolf4life was born, and he is now dedicated to helping all who want to GO on GOLFing FOR LIFE.

A typical programme will involve an initial assessment, (perhaps a nine hole playing lesson) where the goals and time frame are agreed. If there are any medical or lifestyle issues the appropriate professionals will be consulted. Peter then monitors your progress using digital images and continues to motivate you throughout until you achieve balance in your golf, and more importantly your life. This may well involve regular lessons on the driving range, or perhaps playing lessons instead, continuous mentoring is also given via phone calls and e mails. Residents in Spain or Portugal can readily benefit from the regular meetings, whilst visitors can build their programme around a series of mini breaks.
